Gemma Doyle Trilogy- Libba Bray

A truly captivating book, with everything you could ask for in romance, adventure, mystery and magic. Gemma Doyle goes to Spence school for girls after her mother dies a tragic, mysterios death. There she enters a realm of magic that only she can open, and takes on more than she bargained for. The series gets better with each book, and the ending is perfect. I lovvvveeddd it! :D

I was A Teenage Fairy- Francesca Lia Block

As Usual, a riveting Francesca Lia Block masterpiece. Barbie, a teenage waste with a ciggarette in her mouth and a fairy in her pocket, deals with the troubles of having a mom that has thrust her into modeling and a past of child abuse. When she meets a fellow victim, together they suffer with memories from the past. With her fairy as all she has to keep her strong, she puts the child abuser/ photographer behind bars. Touching, as usual. I could not put it down and read it straight through.

A Drowned Maidens Hair- Laura Amy Schlitz

Quite an interesting book. Maud, a young orphan, is a trouble maker beyond all repair. While living in an asylum she is unexpectedly adopted by a rich woman with a kind face and gentile manner. Little does she know she is about to embark on a journey of lies, family secrets and ghosts. A good read, though a little slow. For the young and young at heart.

"Midnighters" series- Scott Westerfeld

Wow! Only on the second one and i am anxios for more! well planned.First on-"The Secret Hour" am o 2nd, "Touching Darkness"

"The Last Days"-Sequal to Peeps-Scott Westerfeld

What a letdown. The Only Book Ive Read By Him That Dissapionts Me...Ends to sudden and without enough explanation.

"Marked"-P.C. & Kristin Cast

I love this book! It has a very spiritual look at the whole vampire thing. It made me look at wiccans in a different light. Am Currently reading "Betrayed". Fans cant wait for "Hunted"!

Vampire Academy-Richelle Mead

This one i enjoyed greatly. It was very sassy and relateable, in that vampire style. Rose is a tough but likeable character. This book has bothhumour and suspense. Not recommended for readers under 13, though. Am currently reading "Frostbite".

"the Vampire Kisses Series"- Ellen Schrieber

Finally, a vampire series with a GOTH girl! Something goth girls around the world will be proud of. Raven, an abnormal girl in a too normal world (and MAN i know how she feels) has her world turned upside-down when sexy vampire Alexander moves to town... and it goes from dullsville to awsome town when they meet and he takes her on a tour of his world. the cute couple meet many dilemmas, from past vampire feuds, to sun, to parents. The 6th book, due in 09-10, "Vampire Kisses: Royal Blood", is long awaited for! 5 out of 5 fangs!

"The Host"- Sthephenie Meyer

A few words on what this book had to live up to. It is in no way a cheap secondary novel. It is just as good as twilight, but i promise you, it did not sound exactly like twilight, and it is 100% Stephenie Meyer. Not a vampire novel, but still awsome! A body snatching book about a host that refuses to be pushed out of her body. so, together, host and invader, they go to find the hosts lost love. a great movie with heart, humor, and a whole lotta stamina. 5 out of 5 fangs.

"A Girls Guide To Vampires"- Katie MacAllister

First of all, NOT a y/a book. But if your looking for a naughty night alone, with a box of chocalates and a little time, well... So anyway, Joy Randall and a friend go to Germany for a little vacation, and get WAY more than just a sexy tour guide and good room service. 5 out of 5 fangs

"Sucks To Be Me"- Kimberly Pauley

Can i just say what a cute book! Really funny and enjoyable. Mina is a girl whos parents are vampires, and are making her decide whether she wants to be one or not! Like, NOT an easy decision! 5 out of 5 stars!

apology about misspellings

i type fast

"Cirque Du Freak"- "Vampires Assistant"- Darren Shan

A real thrilling, interesting, different book series. Darren Shan uses his own name as the characters, swearing its all real events... huh. So Darren and a friend go to see a frak show, and Darren witnesses his friend trying to give up his life to a vampire so as to assisst him... only, under specail circumstances, Darren ends up the assistant. a real good one! 4 out of 5 fangs

"Eith Grade Bites"-"Ninth Grade Slays"- Heather Brewer

This is such a promising series, and i was hooked just by looking at it! It is about a boy who was born a vampire, illegal in vampire world! He lives with his aunt, his parents haveing died in a mysterios fire. He lives as normal a life as a boy like him can live, until his uncle comes to town to teach him about vampirism, and a slayer who turns out to be his best friends cousin befriends him without knowing his dirty little secret... and on top of that he still doesnt know how to talk to the girl he likes! a story of your typical teen..er... vampire whos just trying to grow up. 5 out of 5 fangs. cant wait to read the third!

"Peeps"-Scott Westerfeld

This is a book that looks at vampireism as a disease. Rather than spiritually or culticallly, the piont of view is scienctifically, and it is amazing how much extra information on parasitic insects there is! The main character is a boy looking to find and catch any girlfriends he infected with the disease, and, eventually, the woman who infected him. I expexted way less than i got! 5 out of 5 for this one!

"The Silver Kiss"-Annette Curtis Klaus

Zoey is a normal girl whos mother is dying. Her best friend is moving. Life is crashing down, until she meets simon, who is a vampire boy looking for revenge. I honestly expected it to be better. The plot is a bit weak, but other than that it is an exceptionally enjoyable book. 3 out of 5 stars.

well! lets start with...

Vampire books turned movies!, i for one loved "Van Helsing". Hugh Jackman played the part well, although its similarity to the book is questionable, i couldnnt tear my eyes away from the screen. this is a pic of Hugh on the set of Van Helsing. kate beckinsale was the princess anna in the movie. it seems this vixen actress has a knack for vampire movies, and is starring in the new movie "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans". Another favorite was "queen of the Damned" by ann rice. it seems the most loved of all the Ann Rice movies, and is popular with the Stuart Townsend fans. picture above. But the most recent of the vampy books-gone-movies is "Twilight". i seriosly dont believe half the fans read the book before the movie got big. picture above. There is talk of a "Cirque du Freak" movie, something i know ill be dieing to see!
